Kimbriki
Recycling and Waste Disposal Centre is a solid dry waste landfill and
recycling centre operated by Warringah Council in collaboration with
Manly, Mosman and Pittwater Councils.
1.5 Million Tonnes Recycled!
Kimbriki achieved 1.5 million tonnes of resources recovered in June 2005. This phenomenal quantity of resources has been saved from landfill since recycling
began in 1990.
"The
Kimbriki Recycling Centre is a wonderful example of how easy it is to
avoid, reuse and recycle our waste with the support of the community
and co-operation of local councils."
