Community Research 2007

Page Updated: January 7, 2008

Two major community research projects were undertaken in 2007, the Warringah Community Survey and Talk of the Town. The research provides Council with a good understanding of the needs of the community and will form the basis for service planning in developing the 2008 budget and beyond.

The findings of the research were reported to Council on 27 November 2007 (click to access the Council Report).

The 2007 Warringah Community Survey was a telephone interview of 625 residents to measure importance and satisfaction with Council services. The 2007 Warringah Community Survey Report and media release is available.

The "Talk of the Town" was a community summit held on Sunday 16 September with 380 local residents having a say on the allocation of Council resources. The Preliminary Report on Talk of the Town, Participants Guide, and media releases of 20 July 2007 and 17 September 2007are available
