North Narrabeen Beach

Patrol Times

North Narrabeen Beach is patrolled by professional Lifeguards 7 days a week.

On weekends and Public holidays this is supplemented by Surf Life Saving Club Volunteers.

Patrol dates and times are as follows:

• 29th Sept 2007 till 2rd Dec 2007 9.00am - 5.00pm
• 3rd Dec 2007 till 24th Feb 2008 9.00am - 6.00pm
• 25th Feb 2008 till 27th Apr 2008 9.00am - 5.00pm

 

Facilities

• Toilet & shower facilities for male & female (please note there are no disabled facilities)
• Electric BBQ's
• Picnic area
• Playground equipment (includes a shade structure)
• Two viewing platforms
  

General Conditions

• Good swimming and body surfing conditions
• Strong shore break at times
• Excellent surfing conditions at the north end
• Good surfing breaks along the beach. Best in North Easterly winds.

Parking

Narrabeen has parking available that is free for vehicles displaying Warringah Council's Car Parking stickers and Pay'n'Display is available for those without. The cost for Pay'n'Display parking is:

Monday to Friday:

$4 an hour

$8 all day

Saturdays/ Sundays/ Public Holidays/ School Holidays:

$15 all day fee

There are designated disabled car spaces available.
