Community Service Awards

Warringah Council gives locals the chance to thank the unsung heroes, role models and exceptional citizens young and old during an Australia Day award presentation. Up to ten residents and one non-resident are awarded for long-term outstanding community service within Warringah.
Council congratulates seven exceptional Warringah volunteers, the winners of the 2008 Outstanding Community Service Awards:
- Anne Wilkins - Artability
- Beverly Dew - Manly Warringah Netball Association
- Debra Kennedy-Holmes - support for the recently bereaved
- Raylene Jarvis - scout leader
- Susan Ranger - scout leader
- Wendy Glassman - Manly Warringah Netball Association
- Woody Cornelius-Mau'u - surf life saving
