Notice of change in Ward Boundaries
Notice is given in accordance with Clause 7 of the Local Government (Elections) Regulation 1998 that Council at the meeting of 23 April 2002 amended the electoral boundaries of Ward A, Ward B, and Ward C. The changes adopted are described below and shown on the linked maps.
Reduction of Ward A with Addition to Ward C
i) Move the boundary between A and C Wards from Willandra Road, Beacon Hill and the creek to extend the boundary along Willandra Road to its intersection with Parr Parade, then in an easterly direction along Parr Parade to its intersection with Lascelles Road. Then in a southerly direction along Lascelles Road then Wappi Close back to Lascelles Road to its intersection with Warringah Road. Then along Warringah Road in a westerly direction to its intersection with Willandra Road.
Reduction of Ward A with Addition to Ward B
ii) Move the boundary along Warringah Road to Victor Road, then in a northerly direction along Victor Road to its intersection with Parr Parade. Then in a Westerly direction along Parr Parade to its intersection with Nalya Road, then in a southerly direction to the intersection with Lascelles Road, then along the previously defined boundary along Lascelles in a southerly direction to Warringah Road.
