Warringah Council runs environmental activities such as guided tours, workshops and lectures as part of its Hilltop to Headland environmental program. Most are free unless stated otherwise.

Weed it! Enjoy the morning at the Manly Lagoon foreshores. Do some weeding with others. Children are welcome to join in or play nearby. Shared supervision of children is available. Bookings are essential on 9942 2439.

World Environment Day celebrations: Water Saving Workshop
7-9pm
Is your water consumption too high? Spend the evening with us to find out practical low cost ways to save water and help the environment. Information on rainwater tanks and greywater systems will also be covered. Coastal Environment Centre, Lakeside Caravan Park, Narrabeen. Movie – Garbage Warriors

Watch Michael Reynolds, a maverick architect, with a crew of house builders create experimental living structures by using beer cans, car tyres and other used materials, particularly in areas devastated by hurricanes and tsunamis.
