Information for Candidates
In December 2006, Warringah Council considered a request to adopt a Charter of Political Reform. Although Council did not adopt the Charter, it did resolve to support the aims and objectives of the Charter. Council resolved that prospective candidates be invited to consider adopting the Charter as part of their electon platforms and to include the Charter in their Candidate Information Sheet, required to be lodged with their nomination form with the Returning Officer.
A Draft Post Election Councillor Briefing Program has also been drafted for candidates' infomation.
