Media Release - Online Story Time at Warringah

February 22, 2012

Any child can enjoy books without going to the library, thanks to online reading tools from the Warringah Library Service.

At the library’s website there are two great tools where children can read, listen to and even create their own stories.

The Tumblebooks and Ziptales tools have fun features that help make learning to read fun for children of all abilities.

The services are some of those on offer during the National Year of Reading, which is to promote the importance of literacy and reading.

It is a well know fact that generating an early love of stories and reading will help to build a nation of readers.

To help your child discover the joy of reading, go to the ‘Kids Space’ section at wls.nsw.gov.au/
