Media Alert - North Narrabeen Masterplan Forum Opens

Members of the public are being urged to have their say about the future of North Narrabeen Beach Reserve and Birdwood Park.

"We have been working closely with stakeholders and are very keen to hear the opinions of all residents and business owners," said a council spokeswoman.

The masterplan is needed to outline the long term vision for the area's conservation, upgrade and management and to prevent any ad-hoc changes.

The masterplan will provide a 'blueprint' for the future of the reserves, allowing Council to plan and to seek additional funding when necessary.

People are being asked to give their comments on any aspect of the reserve including the types of facilities, viewing areas, car parking, landscaping and accessibility.
