Media Release - Curl Curl Sports Centre Upgrade
Curl Curl Sports Centre is the latest sports facility to get a spruce up from Warringah Council.
"This is great for Curl Curl and great for women's sport in Warringah," said Warringah Mayor, Michael Regan.
"The whole community will benefit from the construction of vastly improved bathrooms with disabled access," he added.
The works, which also include an upgrade of office and canteen facilities, will start 23 January and will take six months to complete.
Improvements have previously been made to the surrounding area and courts.
"Manly-Warringah Netball Association is thrilled with Warringah Council's consultative process on this project," said Manly-Warringah Netball Assoc. President, Jane Hauser.
"We'll be able to hold our winter competition as usual, using demountable buildings supplied by Warringah Council," she added.
Other sports facilities improvements being carried out by Warringah this financial year include a major upgrade to the Jane Try Stand at Brookvale Oval, a new synthetic playing surface at Cromer and lighting and turf upgrades across Warringah.
