Warringah Council Development Control Plan
Development control plans typically contain another layer of development control to provide more detail and supplement local environmental plans. Much of the detail which would ordinarily be contained in development control plans is incorporated into Warringah Local Environmental Plan 2000 (WLEP2000).
However, in December 2005 Council adopted the Warringah Development Control Plan (Warringah DCP) to supplement WLEP2000 and provide a greater level of planning control and guidance in relation to a number of specific matters.
At present the Warringah DCP contains provisions in relation to public exhibition and notification requirements as well as the location of mobile phone base stations. Council envisages that additional matters may be addressed through the Warringah DCP as the need arises.
The Warringah Development Control Plan - Belrose Road Corridor was adopted by Council in July 2008. The Warringah DCP - Belrose, supplements the provisions of the WLEP 2000 and applies only to land in the C11 Belrose Road Corridor Locality.
