The Warringah Art Prize is the Northern Beaches' most prestigious art competition, offering over $24,000 in prize value.

The 2017 Warringah Art Prize exhibition will be displayed at the Creative Space in North Curl Curl across two exhibitions. 

 

Exhibition dates

General Art and Small Sculpture
11 August – 20 August

Youth and Waste-to-Art
25 August – 3 September

 

Artist entries open 1 May 2017 and close midnight Sunday 2 July 2017. Registrations and payment is via online submission only.

General category: Two dimensional original paintings or drawings in any medium, printmaking, collage and photography. Open to artists 19 years and older.

Small Sculpture category: Freestanding, non-site specific, three-dimensional object. Open to artists 19 years and older.

Waste to Art: Original works of art, sculpture, clothing, collage, jewellery. Artworks must be made from reused or recycled materials. Open to artists 10 years and older.

Youth: Two dimensional original paintings or drawings in any medium, printmaking; collage; photography. Open to artists aged 10 to 14 years and 15 to 18 years.
