Council adopted this plan at its meeting on 11th November 2008. The plan provides guidance on the management of these bushland reserves. The main value of these reserves is for conservation of remnant vegetation in an urban setting. Low impact recreation is another value.
The actions in the plan focus on protecting these values, with the ecological value of the bushland being the primary value. Council’s primary management intention for the five reserves is to conserve and restore the bushland through weed control, fencing, closure of selected tracks and revegetation. There are actions in the plan to prepare and implement a prioritised Bush Regeneration Plan for each reserve. A horse and pedestrian access track in Rhoker Reserve will be reinstated, and a multi-use access track is proposed for Condover Reserve. As well, the plan recommends formalising the management of the horse arena at Anembo Reserve.
