State of Warringah Report 2007
Welcome to the State of Warringah Report 2007.
Each year Council produces State of Warringah as a snapshot of Warringah residents’ quality of life.
As in previous years, the 2007 report measures trends across many aspects of the lives of our residents and helps us to plan future services in the area.
Some 28 indicators are assessed across three themes of sustainability including environmental, economic and social considerations. Four new indicators have been included this year. Two draw upon results from the 2007 Community Survey and reflect how residents feel about their local community and how safe they consider themselves to be. We also have new indicators for water quality of creeks and the availability of childcare in Warringah.
Of the 28 indicators, 6 are positive, 20 are stable and 2 show negative (generally minimal) changes since the 2006 report.
