DiscoBility is a dance party for young people with special needs. The event focuses on involving young people with special needs, aged 12 - 24 years, their carers, siblings and friends in a social event.
DiscoBility encourages young people with disabilities to participate in a fun, exciting and age appropriate event. By providing a non-intimidating atmosphere we hope to familiarise these young people with such events and in the future, integrate them into regular youth events.
DiscoBility started out as a pilot project in 2005 and now forms a regular part of Council’s youth entertainment program.
