Charges and Conditions
Warringah ratepayers
Warringah ratepayers are eligible for two free parking permits issued with the August rates notice each year. Warringah ratepayers are entitled to purchase additional parking permits as follows:
- In August - $42 per parking permit
- In December - $31.50 per parking permit
- In March - $21 per parking permit
- In June - $10.50 per parking permit
Warringah residents
Warringah residents who are not ratepayers may purchase parking permits as follows:
- In August - $42 per parking permit
- In December - $31.50 per parking permit
- In March - $21 per parking permit
- In June - $10.50 per parking permit
Please note that proof of residency in the Warringah Council area must be provided when purchasing a parking permit.
Pittwater residents
Pittwater residents may purchase Warringah Council parking permits as follows:
- In August - $58 per parking permit
- In December - $43.50 per parking permit
- In March - $29 per parking permit
- In June - $14.50 per parking permit
Proof of residency in the Pittwater Council area must be provided when purchasing a parking permit.
Residents living outside Warringah and Pittwater Council areas
Non-residents of Warringah or Pittwater may purchase Warringah Council parking permits as follows:
- In August - $185 per parking permit
- In December - $139 per parking permit
- In March - $92.50 per parking permit
- In June - $69.50 per parking permit
Warringah residents who are not ratepayers and all other non-residents will be charged the relevant cost of a replacement parking permit sticker according to the fees listed above. If a parking permit sticker is lost as a result of a vehicle accident, sale of a vehicle or vehicle theft then written proof must be supplied to the Council before a replacement sticker can be obtained.
Parking permits for each year become valid from 1 September. Fees and conditions for parking permits are reviewed annually and may be subject to change.
