Warringah Council offers several courses and partners with other organisations to bring you the information you need about business.

Food Handlers Course

Council provides regular food handler training to help you comply with Food Safety Standards. It runs for two-and-a-half hours and could help save you unnecessary costs. All participants receive a manual, a copy of the Food Safety Standards, a set of Food Safety Fact Sheets and a Certificate of Attendance.

Sydney Business

Sydney Business is a not-for-profit organisation providing training and mentoring for small business owners. With offices conveniently located in Dee Why and Chatswood, local small businesses can access heavily subsidised advice and support from Sydney Business through the NSW Government’s Small Biz Connect program. Budding entrepreneurs currently receiving a Centrelink benefit may also be eligible for free business training and mentoring to start their business with the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme.
