Sustainability Business Network Launch Event - 22 November 2016
This was the follow up event to last year’s Business ‘Power to Save’, to launch our new sustainable business network. The event featured an inspiring presentation by Sarah Mandelson, CEO of Serendipity Ice Cream. The business has gone completely carbon neutral and Sarah shared some great success stories.
The local business panellists also had a lot of fantastic sustainability success stories: including Ruby Lane, winner of the Northern Beaches Local Business Award in Sustainability, Hairazor with Sustainable Salons Australia, 4 Pines Brewery and representatives from the Better Business Partnerships.
Missed the event but still interested in signing up to the network: Register Here for the SBN
At this event Council launched the Sustainable Business Network (SBN). This forum will provide an excellent opportunity for local businesses to connect and share their experiences and will deliver up-to-date sustainability information and resources.
Through the SBN we will send out quarterly e-newsletter with up to date sustainability business news and facilitate networking events across the beaches.
