Griffith Park Trail

WHERE: Griffith Park
WHEN: June 
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Council is improving access along the trail. We will be providing an accessible pathway link to Long Reef boardwalk in Stage 1 and upgrading the stairs from Long Reef bus stop to the Long Reef SLSC car park in Stage 2.
Please watch for diversions during construction.

Nolan Park pedestrian bridge repairs

WHERE: North Manly
WHEN: May - June 
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: The bridge linking Nolan and Passmore Reserves will be closed for essential maintenance works for approximately 5-6 weeks commencing Monday May 9. Alternate access is via Kentwell Road.

Stormwater Pipe installation

WHERE: Oaks Ave, Dee Why (Between the Post Office and Pittwater Road)
WHEN: March - October
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: These works will reduce the frequency and severity of flooding in the Dee Why Town Centre.

Forestville Park Upgrade

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: We are renewing and expanding the community facilities.

Sea Wall Stability

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Repairs and improvements to the seawal to improve longevity.

Access Improvements 

WHERE: Smith Street, Manly Vale
WHEN: May - June
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: We are installing a new footpath between Fishbourne St and Condamine St, to improve public access.

Park Upgrade 

WHERE: Jamieson Park, Narrabeen
WHEN: June
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Building a large picnic shelter for community use.

Glen Street Cultural Hub

WHERE: Glen Street, Belrose
WHEN: March 2016 - February 2017
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Works will include a new library linked to the current Glen Street Theatre.

Oxford Falls Road Storm Erosion Repairs

WHERE: Oxford Falls Road
WHEN: July
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: We are investigating an engineered solution after severe erosion from the April 2015 storms caused the area to become and continue to be unstable. Half width of Oxford Falls Road between Morgan Road and Telstra Compound is closed for traffic. Portable traffic lights and signage are in place.
