Nolan Park pedestrian bridge repairs

WHERE: North Manly
WHEN: April - May 2016
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: The bridge linking Nolan and Passmore Reserves will be closed for essential maintenance works for approximately 5-6 weeks commencing Monday May 9. Alternate access is via Kentwell Road.

Michaela Howie Playground

WHERE: Dee Why Beach
WHEN: 27 to 29 April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: New rubber soft fall under existing climbing equipment providing better and safer play experiences.

Stormwater Pipe installation

WHERE: Oaks Ave, Dee Why (Between the Post Office and Pittwater Road)
WHEN: March - October
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: These works will reduce the frequency and severity of flooding in the Dee Why Town Centre.

Glen Street Cultural Hub

WHERE: Glen Street, Belrose
WHEN: February - December
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Works will include a new library linked to the current Glen Street Theatre.

Collaroy Beach Reserve Improvements

WHERE: Collaroy Beach Central Reserve and Carpark
WHEN: February - April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Council is providing new paved pedestrian walkways, park furniture, additional lighting, landscaping and accessible parking arrangements improving accessibility, safety, and user experience.

Oxford Falls Road Storm Erosion Repairs

WHERE: Oxford Falls Road
WHEN: July
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: We are investigating an engineered solution after severe erosion from the April 2015 storms caused the area to become and continue to be unstable. Half width of Oxford Falls Road between Morgan Road and Telstra Compound is closed for traffic. Portable traffic lights and signage are in place.

Erosion Stability

WHERE: Fishermans Beach Carpark, Long Reef
WHEN: May 2015 - November 2016
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: We are investigating an engineered solution after severe erosion from the April 2015 storms caused the area to become unstable.

Queenscliff Swim Club

WHERE: Queenscliff Pool
WHEN: February - April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: The existing deck is being replaced and improvements to the handrails are being made to improve safety for users.

New Park Facilities

WHERE: Beverley Job Park, Narraweena
WHEN: February - June
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Construction of an accessible amenities building and upgrade of the existing facilities.

Carpark Resurfacing

WHERE: Hinkler Park
WHEN: March - April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Temporary fencing will be placed around an area of bank erosion. Coir logs will be put in place and the area revegetated with a mixture of saltmarsh and other indigenous plant species.
