Middle Creek Bridge
Manly Dam Mountain Bike Track Upgrade
WHERE:
  • In Track Section 1 Park Main Entry to Manning Street - the area of track east of Manning Street
  • In Track Section 3 Kirkwood Street to Wakehurst Parkway Gate - the area of track called The Sniggle
  • In Track Section 7 Allambie Heights junction to bottom of 19th Hole - the area of track called the 19th Hole

WHEN: May-June (weather permitting)

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improved track drainage to reduce erosion and track widening and to enable the track to recover quicker after rain. Improved track surface to enhance rider safety whilst retaining technical features. Installing corrals to reduce track footprint and to keep riders on the track to minimise track widening. Riders please note that diversions will be in place and some sections may be closed during this time.

Dee Why Lifeguard Hut
WHERE: North end of promenade at Dee Why Beach
WHEN: May - June
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: The new viewing tower will allow lifeguards to respond faster to emergencies on the beach and better see the swimming zone. It also gives lifeguards shelter from the elements and will be a station for first aid.
 
New Roundabout
WHERE: Oliver and Wyndora intersection, Freshwater

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Construction of a new roundabout to improve traffic flow and safety.
 
Griffth Park Carpark Upgrade
WHERE: Griffith Park, Collaroy
WHEN: April - May
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improved carpark facilities for Long Reef Golf Course and Griffith Park Oval.
 
Batho Street Carpark Upgrade
WHERE: Batho Street, Curl Curl
WHEN: Late April - May
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improved car park facilities.
 
Belrose Children's Centre Upgrade
WHERE: Belrose Children's Centre
WHEN: April - June
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improved playground including sandpit, water feature, amphitheatre, sensory trails and an additional playground for the 0-2 being installed. Building expansion of the 0-2 area also.
 
Rural Fire Service Upgrade
WHERE: Rural Fire Service, Terrey Hills 
WHEN: April - May
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Kitchen facilities improved for the catering unit to provide an enhanced level of service during major incidents.
 
State Emergency Service Upgrade
WHERE: State Emergency Service Terrey Hills
WHEN: April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Extended training facilities for the SES volunteers.
 
Cycleway Construction
WHERE: Kentwell Street, Manly Vale
WHEN: April - May
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: New shared cycleway path between Condamine Street and Cornwell Road.
 
Allambie Hall Outdoor Upgrade
WHERE: Allambie Public Hall
WHEN: Monday 14 – 28 April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: A granite meandering pathway, new swing, small play equipment, seating, turfed and mulched areas and new plantings are being installed.
 
The Forest Room Upgrade
WHERE: The Forest Room (previously called the Forestville Seniors Flat)
WHEN: March - April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Painting and removal of some internal walls, new vinyl flooring, minor upgrades of the bathroom and kitchen. Also a mural will be painted around the perimeter fencing. This area will be suitable for children’s parties, family gatherings and playgroups as it has a safe enclosed playground.
 
Oxford Falls Peace Park Upgrade
WHERE: Oxford Falls Peace Park
WHEN: Wednesday 26 April – Monday 19 May
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Landscaping upgrade, including lighting and outside toilets. Also internal painting, new ceiling lights, fans and fittings. 
 
Beacon Hill Hall Upgrade
WHERE: Beacon Hill War Memorial Hall
WHEN:  Monday 24 March – 14 April
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Refurbishment of the main hall timber floor, internal hall, foyer, kitchen and toilet.
 
St Matthews Farm Reserve Upgrade
WHERE: St Matthews Farm, Cromer
WHEN: April - October 2014
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: A new club room, canteen, change room and toilet facilities.The sportsfield will remain open and temporary facilities provided.
 
Curl Curl Sports Grandstand
WHERE: Netball Centre at John Fisher Park
WHEN: April - May
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Removal of timber grandstand and installation of a concrete grandstand.
 
New Footpaths
WHERE: Tramore Place, Killarney Heights

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: New footpath leading to school grounds.
 
New Playground at Greendale Reserve
WHERE: Greendale Reserve, Frenchs Forest
