Middle Creek Bridge
Manly Dam Mountain Bike Track Upgrade
WHERE:
  • In Track Section 10 South of Maroa Cres to King Street

WHEN: September

WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improved track drainage to reduce erosion and track widening and to enable the track to recover quicker after rain. Improved track surface to enhance rider safety whilst retaining technical features. Installing corrals to reduce track footprint and to keep riders on the track to minimise track widening. Riders please note that diversions will be in place and some sections may be closed during this time.

Collaroy Beach Stormwater Outlet

WHERE: Collaroy Beach
WHEN: August-December
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: The seaward end of the outlet will be dismantled and replaced - making it approximately 10 metres shorter. The small carpark south of Collaroy Beach Services Club will be closed during construction. The beach will remain open but works may cause some inconvenience.
 
Belrose Children's Centre Upgrade
WHERE: Belrose Children's Centre
WHEN: April - September
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improved playground including sandpit, water feature, amphitheatre, sensory trails and an additional playground for the 0-2 being are completed. Building works to be completed in September.
 
St Matthews Farm Reserve Upgrade
WHERE: St Matthews Farm, Cromer
WHEN: April - October
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: A new club room, canteen, change room and toilet facilities. The sportsfield will remain open and temporary facilities provided.
 
Queenscliff Rockpool Restoration
WHERE: Queenscliff rockpool and adjoining pathway
WHEN: mid-end July - November
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: New surfaces on three sides of the rockpool, widened ramp access from the beach, modifications to the pool stairs and a new ladder at the deep end. The works are extensive and therefore the pool area and the adjoining pathway link from Queenscliff headland to the beach will be closed during construction.
 
New Pool Stairs
WHERE: North Curl Curl Rockpool
WHEN: Monday 23 June – Early September 
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Removal of existing timber stairs and installation of a wider stainless steel framed stairway to improve access and safety. Please note access to the pool will is closed during this time.
 
Setting up for Summer
WHERE: Various sportsfields
WHEN: 25 August - 18 September
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Goals will be removed, cricket pitches uncovered, back nets installed and the grounds repaired prior to summer sports season.
 
Berry Reserve Upgrade
WHERE: Northern end of Berry Reserve carpark, Narrabeen.
WHEN: 18 August – Early October
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: The upgrades are aimed at improving public safety, accessibility and reducing graffiti. The works will include feature concrete paving, new park furniture, replacement fencing to the basketball court and planting. The basketball court, adjoining pathways, grass and some carpark spaces will be closed at times to allow works to proceed. Access to the toilet facilities will be maintained.
 
Griffith Park Trail Long Reef
WHERE: Fishermans Beach carpark to  existing concrete path at Long Reef Headland
WHEN: 19 August – September
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Replacing gravel path with concrete surface to improve accessibility.
 
North Narrabeen Upgrade
WHERE: Area surrounding North Narrabeen SLSC
WHEN: August - September
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: New floating boardwalk, shower and concrete access area.
 
Allambie Playground Improvements
WHERE: FJ Machon Reserve, Allambie Heights
WHEN: Late August - September
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Playground upgrade including installation of exercise equipment, swings, slide and a climbing frame.  
 
Landscape Improvements
WHWRE: Stirgess Reserve, Curl Curl
WHEN: August - September
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Improvements to the landscape including the installation of a path and seating.
 
Kerb and Gutter Replacement
WHERE: Londonderry Drive, Killarney Heights/ Lady Davidson Circuit, Forestville / Pacific Parade, Dee Why
WHEN: 4 August - 25 August
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Damaged kerb and gutters are being replaced to improve drainage and eliminate trip hazards.
 
New Cricket Pitches and Repairs
WHERE: Various sportsfields
WHEN: 18 - 25 August
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: New Criket pitch at Lionel Watts and McFarlane Reserve, new synthetic grass laid at Frank Gray and repairs to cricket nets at St Matthews Farm and Frank Gray Oval.
 
Road Repairs and Resurfacing
WHERE: Bangaroo - Eileen Street and Woodbine Street North Balgowlah and Altona - Fitzpatrick Ave and Grace Avenue Forestville
WHEN: August
WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU: Repair and resurfacing of road pavement with asphaltic concrete.
