The Collaroy Accessibility Precinct is a ground-breaking project that has seen Collaroy Beach, reserve and shopping district become an upgraded accessible area for all to enjoy.

All-abilities Playground

The new all-abilities playground features an all-inclusive accessible carousel, spinner, rocker, 6-seated swing set and the Liberty Swing for wheelchairs. It also includes a large dome climbing net structure and a number of inter-connected timber decks at varying heights with slides to provide opportunities for climbing, sliding and imaginative play.

To enhance educational and sensory experiences, the playground has areas containing artistic elements, carved sandstone sculptures, musical elements and an interactive water play area.
There is also  two shaded wheelchair accessible picnic settings, and park seats scattered throughout the playground, to enable parents and carers to sit close to the equipment.

Collaroy Stormwater Outlet

Council is fixing the stormwater outlet. It is being dismantled and replaced from August-December 2014. The pipe will be apx 10 metres shorter.

Beach Reserve Upgrade
